Nawaf Al-Janahi was selected a jury member for the International Emmy Awards, in the best performance category. Hosted by Pyramedia Productions, the judging session took place today in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Nawaf Al-Janahi announced today his new project the Black Box Cinema, which will be introduced for the first time at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, running from 30 April to 5 May 2014. The cinema will present a film showcase, plus daily talks and workshops. For more information click here.

Nawaf Al-Janahi takes part in presenting Aflamnah's workshop in Cairo (Egypt) on the basics of crowdfunding and its tools, which will be held in the British Council on 16 March 2014. For more information click here.

The crowdfunding on Aflamnah for the Emirati Cinema Campaign has come to an end successfully. The final amount raised reached $8570, with 71 pledges, from different individuals and companies, from the UAE and abroad. For more information click here.

Organized by the Emirati Cinema Campaign, and using only bicycles and red flags, Nawaf Al-Janahi, accompanied by filmmaker Khalid Al-Mahmood, started today touring the UAE for a period of 7 days to raise awareness about the Emirati film movement.

Nawaf Al-Janahi is a jury member in the Original Narrative Student Short Film Festival, which launches for the first time this year, from 12 to 13 February 2014. The festival is presenting a show for "Sea Shadow" as well, and admission is open to the public. For more information click here.
