Black Box Cinema
Founded and managed by Nawaf Al Janahi, Black Box Cinema had its program annually at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair from 2014 to 2017. It screened in 4 years a total of 62 Arab short and documentary films to 5,786 viewers and achieved a grand traffic of more than 25,600 people. Al Janahi created the concept of this 50-seat cinema specifically to be at non-film events, spreading film culture in new circles and giving different audiences the chance to come closer to Arab cinema. If your organization is interested in such projects, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
