Black Box Cinema Returns to Abu Dhabi International Book Fair for a 5th Edition
Visitors of Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2022 are getting back Black Box Cinema, which was founded and managed by Nawaf Al Janahi and quickly became one of the most attended pavilions since it was introduced for the first time in 2014.
Focused mainly on presenting Arab cinema, Black Box Cinema screened in its past 4 editions 62 short films from the UAE and the Arab world, varying between narrative and documentaries, to a grand total audience of more than 5,700 viewers from multiple ages and nationalities.
In its 5th edition, Black Box Cinema presents a program that includes 22 short films: 15 short films from the UAE and the Arab world, and 7 short films hosted from Germany, the Guest of Honor Country at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair this year.
